California is in the third year of implementing the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) which is intended to equitably allocate dollars from the state to education. In an effort to provide the best services and programs, the Ventura County Office of Education has developed a plan -- known as the Local Control and Accountability Plan or LCAP -- which aligns VCOE's educational goals with financial resources. We are committed to engaging parents, students, staff and the community in the process of reviewing the plan to best meet the needs of the students in our court and community schools.
